To Qualify you Must Recieve:

  • Medicaid: New York State Health Insurance. Must Provide Medicaid Award Letter as Proof of Participation.
  • SNAP: Commonly referred to as "Food Stamps". Must Provide SNAP Benefit Award Letter or SNAP Card Front and Back as Proof of Participation.
  • HEAP: Heating Energy Assistance Program. Must Show Energy affordability credit on 3rd page of C.H. Bill, or Submit copy of HEAP Benefit Award Letter as Proof of Participation.

*Eligible participants will receive guaranteed savings on electric bills. Community Solar subscribers in this program can see savings of up to 20% on the supply portion of their electric bill. Solar credits received are based on subscriber energy usage and the solar farm’s energy production, which can fluctuate month-to-month, resulting in varied savings. Since credits and savings from your subscription will be applied directly to your electric bill, you will continue to get your bills how you get them and pay them how you pay them. $50 VISA gift card will be sent after account is fully subscribed and credits are flowing.
